The highlands and mountains of the country of Bolivia is where our next mystery comes from. The native indian population called the Aymara have many beliefs. This one is by far the strangest, but not the rarest. Most locals in the La Paz and Antiplano area of Andean Bolivia have at least heard of, if not had an acquaintance that has been affected by a bizarre character known as the Khari-Siri or khari-khari.
We talk with a Bolivian native of Aymara descent named Jose who is also a Missionary who both lived worked in India and was born and lived with the Aymara people for most of his life. He tells stories that he has heard and offers an explanation as to what he thinks the Khari Khari is. Don’t miss this weird one!
